New Game Lets Fans Play, Stack Gems, and Access Real-World Rewards from Pro Tennis Players
New York, NY, and Washington, D.C. – July 2, 2025 – SCOR on Sweet, the rapidly growingWeb3 mini-app ecosystem, today announced the launch of its latest mini-game, Flappy Racquet, just in time for the start of Wimbledon. Inspired by the viral hit Flappy Bird, the new title brings an arcade-style twist to tennis. Fans will soon be able to compete using animated avatars of some of their favorite tennis pros to level up game play and increase their Gem stack. Gems may later be convertible to the $SCOR crypto token by eligible users to claim real gear and experiences from pro tennis players, other mini-game upgrades, and more.
Timed perfectly with Wimbledon, one of tennis’s most iconic global events, Flappy Racquet launches today, with a powerhouse roster of tennis players available to unlock soon. Through its partnership with Winners Alliance, Sweet will incorporate several of the sport’s top stars into the game, including Aryna Sabalenka (2024 year-end world No. 1), Naomi Osaka (four-time Grand Slam champion), Tommy Paul (2024 year-end world No. 12), Jasmine Paolini (2024 year-end world No. 4), Barbora Krejcikova (2024 Wimbledon champion), Marketa Vondrousova (2023 Wimbledon champion), Nick Kyrgios (2022 Wimbledon finalist), Alexander Bublik, Arthur Fils, Zhizhen Zhang and more.
Each player comes with unique in-game power-ups or earning multipliers when owned by a user, offering strategic gameplay advantages and more ways to climb the leaderboards. Fans who own these characters will be able to bring these stars into the mini-games to power up game play and increase their ability to stack Gems.
“This is what SCOR on Sweet is all about – taking the sports we love and turning them into rewarding, competitive, and addictingly fun mini-games,” said Tom Mizzone, CEO of Sweet. “With Flappy Racquet, we’re combining nostalgia, elite athlete IP, and real-world rewards into a single experience. Whether you’re a diehard tennis fan, a web3 degen, or just someone who loves to compete, this is going to hit.”
As part of Sweet’s collaboration with Winners Alliance, players will be able to use the $SCOR they earn in-game to unlock exclusive items in the SCOR Store – including signed, game-worn gear, video meet-and-greets with pro tennis players, and other one-of-a-kind opportunities curated by Sweet as an “Officially Licensed” partner of Winners Alliance.
“Our mission has always been to put athletes first, and this partnership with Sweet helps us deliver new value to tennis players and fans alike,” said Manny Redruello, Winners Alliance VP of Games. “SCOR is more than a game – it’s a platform that celebrates the individual talents of the best tennis players in the world to create visibility and economic opportunity for the athletes and fun interactive experiences for their global fanbases.”
Flappy Racquet is now live in the SCOR on Sweet mini-app, available across Telegram, web, and mobile.
